Gasket Ring Type R can be ordered in two different profiles, oval or oval in the form of oval in cross section. Both types have the same pitch diameter as the appropriate flange groove.
This gasket is used under pressure up to 5,000 psi. The oval type is the only packing that matches the bottom radius. Flensa with the bottom groove will receive a good force.
Gasket RX-Series
Gasket RX is designed for pressure up to 5,000 psi. They can be exchanged with R-Oval or R-Octagonal rings used in 6B API Flensa. Rx Type of Gasket looks very good at 6B Flanged Blowout Block Prevers, requires additional mass of RX gasket to support higher pressure with higher vibrations and weights that are heavier than this unit. Bx-Gasket Series
BX series can only be used with 6bx flames and 16bx hubs. BX Gasket is designed to determine high pressure starting from 5,000 lbs.
and end with 20,000 lbs. The diameter pitch on the gasket Bx is slightly larger than the pitch diameter of the flange. This forces the gasket to the initial seal on the outer corner and the two seals with the inner angle when it leads to the setting of each torque.
