Quality Dishwashing Soap is a household product that is always needed, every day there are utensils that have to be washed. This opens up very ideal and good business potential because the article is very large.
There are lots of recipes/ways to make laundry soap on the internet, but not all of these methods can produce quality soap.
In this article we will discuss how to make dishwashing soap whose quality has been tested ( the source of information comes from former employees of leading soap factories )
The following tools are needed:
1. Tools needed:
- plastic measuring cup
- a spatula or other mixing tool
- bucket fruit
- pH paper
2. Materials needed:
- Water 775 ml
- EDTA 0.5 grm
- Emal 270 N / Texapon N 70 20 grams
- LABS / ABS 40 grm
- Cocamidopropyl Betaine 20-40 grm
- Industrial Salt 45 grams
- Original Perfume to taste
- Perwana to taste
Manufacturing Steps :
- Pour 775 ml of water into the prepared bucket, then add Emal N 270 while stirring until completely dissolved. You can skip this process overnight if you’re too lazy to stir, but make sure everything is mixed well the next day.
- After the Emal has dissolved, add ORM and FST to the mixture of water and Emal, stir until evenly distributed and dissolved.
- Test the pH by placing the pH paper in the soap solution. Match the color of the pH paper you are holding with the label on the packaging. The ideal pH standard is 6.5 – 7.
- If the pH is less than 5 (pH 1-5), add a little STPP / Caustic Soda until it reaches 6.5-7. If the pH is more than 7 (pH 8-12), add Citric Acid / Citrus.
- Next, add Perfume to the mixture while continuing to stir until dissolved.
- Slowly add Industrial Salt while continuing to stir until the mixture thickens.
- Finally, add Perwana little by little while continuing to stir until evenly distributed.
Things to pay attention to
- Make sure the pH of the soap is in the range 6.5 – 7 to ensure safe use.
- PH below 5 (pH 1-5) can cause irritation to the skin, sometimes causing dry and peeling skin. This is more risky for people with sensitive skin. On the contrary,
- PH above 7 (pH 8-12) can cause skin irritation and itching symptoms, especially on sensitive skin.
- Using water with TDS 0 (Total Dissolve Solid) is recommended to avoid problems such as unpleasant odors and reduced foaming power of soap if stored for a long time.
Advantages of this Quality Dishwashing Soap:
- Cost Effective: Saves you money compared to buying commercial dish soap.
- Environmentally Friendly: Does not contain harmful chemicals, so it is better for the environment.
