Average dose recommendation 57.5 mg/kg of pyrantel embonate and 5mg/kg praziquantel. This is equivalent to 1 tablet for 4kg (9 lbs) body weight. Tablets are given orally (in the form of tablets or crushed into powder). Diet (fasting is not needed before and after eating drontal medicine.
For example: • 2kg weight: 1/2 tablet • 4kg weight: 1 tablet • 6kg weight: 1 ½ tablet
Treatment Recommendations:
